peshawar zoo park in 2021

 Peshawar zoo is the first zoo ever in Peshawar as well as in kyber pukhtun khawa . it will manage by the govt institute wild life depertment. PTI (Pakistan tehreek insaf ) first kpk govt have start the construction work on FEB 3, 2016 with ground breaking cermony attend by MR. IMRAN KHAN and former chief minister of kpk MR. PERVAIZ KHAN KHATTAK. the zoo will officially open on FEB 18 2018.the total area of the zoo is 29 acres  beside the permission of Pakistan institute of forest. it is located palosi road near markaz -ul - uloom islmia rahat abad.

 

 

first animal arrived from lahore zoo in October 2017. include a pair of loin and various species ungulate include nilgi and blackbucks. other animal will brought in different areas of khyber pukhtun khawa . including leopards are brought from dhodial phesentry in wilid life park in malakand near taj place hotel swat  and asiatic black bear from nathiya gali

 early on the following zoo opening  various animal died due to the lack of medicine facilities and also the rising temperature of the city. include a female leopards her name is sonhi is died due to clogged artery which can not be diagnose on time and two leopard cubes were died due to heat related causes.

3 pair of bengal tiger are arrived in peshawar zoo  from south africa in June 2018.shortly by the arrivel of giraffa  and the opening of the snake house.

bird cage:

 

in bird cage you will see differnt type of parrots, white pelicans , muscuvy ducks , chukar partidges , black crown cranes and other bird etc .

leopards house:

 leopards house is consist of 4 roofed enclusure with indoor shelter for the animals indian leopard

wolf house :

 in wolf house there is cage which have two door. the grey wolf are there. inside the cage there are small room for grey wolf 

Markhor cage :

 pakistan national animal markhor and there species are living in the cage of markhor 

deer cage :

 

different type of deer are living inside the cage but mostly red deer , sambar deer and hog deer are there.

when i see the first look of deer  i really enjoy the beauty of deer and when  the deer runs its amazing .

camel:

Bear cage :

in bare cage there are couple of bears there black bear.

Snake house:

 6 type of snake are there and all the snake are inside the transparent mirror. mostly children are watching snake in peshawar zoo.
